The Core Equity Strategy is made of companies which Ancora Advisors believes have superior long-term total return potential. Securities in this category tend to be well-established and recognizable leaders in their industry.   

Although not always the case, these companies will typically have market capitalizations in excess of $500 million.

In determining whether a company is a leader in its industry or has products or services which have dominance in the marketplace, Ancora Advisors will not focus exclusively on market capitalization, but will consider other factors such as market share and whether a company has developed products or services which are unique and generally accepted in their markets.
