associated with investing in small companies. The fund is also
subject to volatility and portfolio turnover risks.
The Ancora Income Fund has an
investment objective of obtaining a high level of income with a
secondary objective of capital appreciation in the value of its
shares. The Fund pursues these objectives by investing primarily
in income-producing securities, including securities of closed
end fund having portfolios consisting primarily of
income-producing securities, and equity securities.
The Ancora
Income Fund is subject to risks related to investments in debt
securities, closed-end funds, large, mid-size and small
companies. The fund is also subject to volatility and portfolio
turnover risks.
The Ancora
Homeland Security Fund has the investment objective of high
total return. The Fund pursues this objective by investing
primarily in U.S. companies that provide products or services
intended to prevent physical attacks against citizens or protect
them from the effects of physical attacks or natural disasters.
Such products and services include, for example, gas masks,
explosive scanners, armored helmets, electronic surveillance
equipment, telecommunication equipment, protective uniforms and
accessories, and surveillance services. The Fund is “non-diversified,”
meaning that the Fund may take larger positions in a smaller
number of companies than a “diversified” fund may take.
