Balanced portfolios consist of some combination of the Core Equities Strategy, Special Opportunity Strategy and Income Strategy. Ancora managers will decide the specific ratio into which each portfolio is divided among these three categories, based upon available opportunities and general market conditions. An individual can achieve a specific pre-defined ratio between these three categories by dividing the portfolio assets into three separate accounts, each focused exclusively on the three strategies listed above.
